SOFT SKILLS
To build your people skills, you can use one of the Soft Skills Development programs. “Hard” skills are those that make a person an expert in his/her field. “Soft” skills are those skills that enable a person to connect and communicate with other people. Everyone can benefit from enhancing their soft skills, but these skills are especially important for anyone who is in or aspires to a leadership position.
Your “technical” expertise alone does not make you a leader.
Here are some of the topics that can be addressed, either through individual coaching or group presentations. All programs are customized to your needs. (See the Speaking section for more information.)
Coach Yourself and the People You Lead: Asking the right questions to build capacity and get results. (My latest book and audio program are on this topic.)
Sending and Receiving: Effective Communication Skills, from Listening Well to Making Your Point. How to make your point effectively, in speech and writing, and how to listen well (which is crucial in any relationship, at work or outside).
Writing with Confidence: A guide to success in putting your ideas “on paper”.
CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
Thank you so much for helping me to align my thoughts and to gain some perspective on who I am and where I am heading. Working with you was a very wise decision on my behalf and if I ever come across anyone who needs similar help, I will send them your way.
